Since the first steps of EUPOS have been done, many lectures were given about the background, the objectives, the organisational structure and the technical standards of EUPOS. This has aroused much interest of other countries, international organisations and the industry. EUPOS collaborates with neighbouring countries, e.g. by cross-border data exchange, and EUPOS cooperates with other international organisations in order to exchange knowledge and experience, to promote the peaceful use of GNSS ground-based augmentation systems and  to ensure the further development of EUPOS and DGNSS infrastructures in general.

The cooperation with the following organisations should be mentioned specially:

United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UN OOSA),

International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG)

and

Radio Technical Commission on Maritime Services (RTCM)

Contacts to organisations like EUREF Technical Working Group are maintained also.
